MyMall Gomla collaborated with PinBlooms Technology Pvt Ltd to upgrade and fine-tune their existing Magento-based e-commerce platform by integrating modern functionalities and a headless architecture called Venia PWA (Progressive Web App) which uses ReactJS. The primary objective was to enhance the user journey by addressing limitations in configurable product handling, improving add to cart usability and cart performance, and building a responsive, app-like interface that supports dynamic product interactions.

Our team was brought in to refine core areas of the shopping experience, including the Product Detail Page (PDP), Mini Cart, Cart Page, Add-to-Cart flow, and complex pricing logic — while maintaining a robust connection with Magento’s backend.

Challenges

Implementing a tier pricing model and quantity structure that dynamically adapts across configurable product variants.
Creating a configurable product popup that displays all child products with options to select multiple attribute combinations and purchase them simultaneously.
Maintaining a minimum price logic for configurable products without affecting Magento's default price hierarchy.
Developing a custom tier pricing module for the Magento admin panel to give backend users flexible control over pricing strategies.
Ensuring real-time functionality and speed across the PDP, mini cart, cart page, and add-to-cart flow in a decoupled frontend-backend environment.
Utilizing GraphQL to enable seamless communication between Magento (backend) and the PWA (frontend) in a Venia headless setup.

Solution

Developed and customized the product detail page, mini cart, and cart flow using ReactJS in Venia for a fast, app-like interface.
Engineered a dynamic popup for configurable products that lists all associated child variants. The popup enables users to select multiple combinations (e.g., size + color) and add them to cart in one go — a significant UX enhancement for bulk buyers.
Applied tiered pricing logic tied to quantities, integrated via a custom Magento admin module, enabling backend teams to manage complex pricing structures with ease.
Ensured minimum price rendering for configurable products on both frontend and backend, offering transparency to users without disrupting Magento logic.
Followed Venia PWA storefront standards while enhancing performance, responsiveness, and custom feature flexibility.
